![]() Preparation Time: 15 minutes Cooking Time: 10 minutes Serves: 3 Ingredients 2 cup chopped carrots 1 cup chopped onions 2-3 leaves of lemongrass 1/4 teaspoon red paprika 1/2 teaspoon ground white pepper 1/2 inch piece of ginger Salt 1 tablespoon oil Coriander for garnishing Method Boil carrots with lemongrass leaves and a piece of ginger in 3 glass of water. Take out the leaves after carrots are boiled. Take a pan and heat oil. Add onions and saute it till it is translucent. Add it to boiled carrots. Blend it to make puree. Take a pan and add carrot onion puree. Add salt, paprika, white pepper and simmer it till it becomes thick. Garnish it with chopped coriander and serve it with bread or rice. |
