Cauliflower Soup

Cauliflower Soup

Preparation Time: 15 minutes

Cooking Time: 20 minutes

Serves: 3


2 cup chopped cauliflower

¼ cup chopped onions/shallots

3-4 cloves of garlic

¼ cup julienne of capsicum/green bell pepper

¼ cup julienne of red capsicum/red bell pepper

1 teaspoon of ground black pepper

1 teaspoon of vinegar/lemon juice

1 teaspoon of butter




Take a pan and heat butter. Add cauliflower, onions, garlic and sauté it for 2-3 minutes. Add 2 glass of water, close the lid and boil it for 8-10 minutes. Switch off the gas stove.

Let it cool slightly. Blend it with a blender. It will be slightly coarse. Add salt, pepper, vinegar and let it simmer for 5 more minutes. Add green and red pepper and cook it for 3-4 more minutes.

Serve it hot with rice or pulav.
