Method Take moong dal, add 4 cups of water and pressure cook for 3 whistles. Add garlic while boiling. Let it cool slightly. Blend it with a blender and strain it. Take a pan and heat butter. Add soup, corn kernels, salt, turmeric powder, lemon zest, green chillies and let it simmer. Take 1/4 cup of water and dissolve corn flour. Mix it in the soup and let it cook it for about 3-4 minutes, stirring continuously in the beginning to avoid lumps. After it thickens, let it simmer on a low flame for about 4-5 minutes. Garnish it with basil leaves and serve it hot with rice, pulav or bread. |
