Tomato Soup

Tomato Soup

Preparation Time: 10 minutes

Serves: 2-3


5-6 big tomatoes

1 piece of carrot (1 inch)


A pinch of ground black pepper

1/2 teaspoon cornflour

1/2 teaspoon butter



Boil the tomatoes and peel the skin. Add boiled carrots and blend it with the blender or in mixture.

Take a pan and heat butter. Add tomato-carrot puree, salt, pepper and let it simmer for about 5-8 minutes. 

Take a bowl. Add cornflour, 2 teaspoon of water and mix it. Add it to the simmering soup. Mix it well and stir it occasionally till it thickens properly. 

You can even add basil leaves if you like it. 

Serve it hot, adding fried bread croutons or grated cheese.
