![]() Fenugreek Chaat Puri Preparation Time: 10 minutes Cooking Time: 15 minutes Serves: 4 Ingredients 2 cup wheat flour ½ cup fenugreek leaves 1 teaspoon ground black pepper Salt Oil for frying
Method Take wheat flour. Add pepper, salt, fenugreek leaves, 1 teaspoon oil and knead dough. Dough should be hard. Make 4 equal balls. Roll big roti and cut into small one inch squares. Prepare squares from all 4 rotis. Poke with fork so that it is flat when frying. Take frying pan and heat oil for frying. Deep fry all the puris. You can store these puris for 10-15 days so you can prepare on the previous day also. You can also make it more in quantity and use it whenever you like. Usually maida(all purpose flour) is used to make chaat puris but personally I prefer wheat flour instead. The thing to be careful about is to fry it in small batches and on the low flame otherwise it will not become crispy. You can use these puris as snacks also any time you like. In winter it is a delight with hot tea. |
