2 cup moong

3 glass of water


Wash and soak moong in water for total about 10-12 hours. Drain the water and wash it again after 6-7 hours. Pour water and soak it again.

Drain the water and keep it in a bowl and close it with a colander. This will help it in air circulation. You can also tie in the muslin cloth and keep it in room temperature, but, close the lid or a pan. Check it after 6-7 hours.

The sprouts are ready when you can see little tails. The time depends on the climate of the particular region. It will take more time in winters than summer.

You can use sprouts maker also.
