Ingredients 3 raw mangoes 1 cup small pieces of jaggery 2 small pieces of cinnamon 4-5 cloves 1 teaspoon cumin seeds 1/2 teaspoon of asafoetida Salt 1 teaspoon of oil
Method Peel the skin of the mangoes and cut into small pieces. Take a pan and heat oil. Add cumin seeds, cinnamon, cloves, asafoetida and stir it 2-3 times. Add mango pieces and saute it for about 1-2 minutes. Add salt and jaggery and stir it continuously till it melts. Cook it for about 3-4 minutes. Let it cool properly. Store it in an air-tight container in refrigerator. |
