Vegetable Stuffed Garlic Rolls

Preparation Time: 20 minutes

Cooking Time: 20 minutes

Makes 4 rolls

Ingredients

1 ½ cup maida (all purpose flour)

2 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

2 tablespoon butter

Salt

Milk as required

2 tablespoon oregano

For Stuffing

1 cup peas

½ cup finely chopped carrots

½ cup finely chopped capsicum/green bell pepper

2 cup cheese cubes (1 cm)

5 tablespoon garlic paste

1 tablespoon ground black pepper

Salt

Method

Take maida, add baking powder, baking soda, salt, butter and mix it well. Add milk and knead the dough. Keep it aside for about 15 minutes.

Take all the vegetables, add salt, pepper, garlic paste and mix it well.

Take dough and make 4 balls. Take one ball and roll the roti of about 8-9 inch diameter. Put cheese cubes in centre. Put about 3-4 tablespoon of vegetables on it. Fold from all the sides, if it is dry apply milk on the edges and seal the roll into rectangle shape. Grease the roll with butter on all the sides and sprinkle oregano on the top. Make 2-3 slits on the top. Slits help to bake the vegetables inside.

Preheat oven and bake the roll in Microwave+Grill combo at 300W+Grill for 8 minutes or till it turns light brown. Serve it hot.

If you want more flavour of garlic, you can add 1 tablespoon of garlic paste in the dough also.
