Cashew Nut Cookies

Cashew Nut Cookies

Preparation Time: 10 minutes

Setting Time: 10 minutes

Baking Time: 40 minutes

Makes 20-22 cookies


¾ cup maida/all purpose flour

¼ cup wheat flour

¾ cup powdered sugar

1 tablespoon baking powder

¼ cup butter

2 tablespoon olive oil

3-4 tablespoon milk

¾ cup finely chopped cashew nuts


Take a bowl. Add maida, wheat flour, powdered sugar, baking powder, mix and sieve it. Add half cashew nuts and butter and mix it well with hands.

Add olive oil and mix it to make a dough. Add milk as per the need to make soft dough. Put the dough in the bowl, cover it with plastic and put it in the refrigerator for 10 minutes for setting.

Take baking tray and grease it. Make small balls, sprinkle some cashew nuts, press it slightly with the hand and put it in the tray leaving about 1 inch space in between.

Preheat oven on 180 degree C and bake it for 20 minutes or till it turns light brown.

Let it cool. Store the cookies in an air tight container.
