Khajur(Dates)-Peanut Rolls

Khajur(dates)-Peanut Rolls

Preparation Time: 20 minutes

Cooking Time: 15 minutes

Serves: 4


2 cup finely chopped khajur (dates)

1 cup roasted salted peanuts

1 cup milk

1 tablespoon ghee/clarified butter



Mash khajur with your hands. Take a pan and heat ghee. Add khajur and sauté for 4-5 minutes. Add milk and let it boil. Saute it till milk is dried and ghee starts leaving the edges. This will make khajur soft. Add roasted salted peanuts and sauté for 5 more minutes.

Let it cool for some time. Take about 2 teaspoons of mix and with your hands make rolls. You can even pat it on the dish to give the perfect shape.

The sweet and salty taste gives a different flavour to the sweet.
