Vermicelli Coconut Burfi

Vermicelli Coconut Burfi

Preparation Time: 10 minutes

Cooking Time: 15 minutes

Serves: 3

Ingredients

1 cup vermicelli (broken)

¾ cup coconut powder

¾ cup sugar

¼ cup milk

3 tablespoon fresh cream

3 tablespoon ghee/clarified butter

1 teaspoon cardamom powder

3 tablespoon raisins

Pistachios for garnishing


Method

Take a pan and heat ghee. Add vermicelli and saute it till it turns brown. Add milk and mix it well and stir it till becomes soft. Add fresh cream, coconut powder, sugar, raisins, cardamom powder and saute it for 2-3 minutes more till it mixes well. 

Grease thali/rectangle box with ghee and pour this mixture in it. Garnish it with pistachio, spread it evenly with a spatula and press it slightly.

Let it set for 30-40 minutes. Cut into squares and serve it.
