Guava-Potato Balls

Guava-Potato Balls

Preparation Time: 15 minutes

Cooking Time: 20 minutes

Serves: 3


5-6 big boiled potatoes

1 cup finely chopped guavas

3 teaspoon green chillies paste

2 teaspoon ginger paste

3 teaspoon chaat masala

2 teaspoon lemon juice

5 tablespoon cornflour or tapkir flour(Arrowroot)


Oil for frying



Take a bowl. Peel the skin of the potatoes and mash it. Peel the skin of the guava, deseed it and mash it coarsely. Add salt, chaat masala, green chillies-ginger paste, lemon juice and mix it well.

Make small balls from the mixture. Roll into the cornflour or tapkir.

Take a pan and heat oil for frying. Deep fry all the balls in batches.

Serve it immediately with tomato ketchup and green chutney.

You can even use apple instead of guava.
