Idli Fry with crispy vegetables

Idli Fry with crispy vegetables

5-6 Idlies

1 cup tomato gravy

¼ cup potato pieces (1/2 inch)

¼ cup carrot pieces (1/2 inch)

¼ cup capsicum/green bell pepper pieces (1/2 inch)

1 teaspoon ground black pepper

¼ cup bread crumbs





Cut idlis into long stripes. Fry it.

Roll all the vegetables into bread crumbs and shallow fry till it is crispy. Add into tomato gravy. Add green chillies if you like more spicy. Add salt and pepper. Cook it for about 2-3 minutes. Add vegetables into the gravy just before serving otherwise vegetables will not remain crispy.

Arrange fried idlis into the plate. Pour tomato gravy with vegetables and serve hot.
