![]() Peas-Paneer(Cottage Cheese) Sandwich Preparation Time: 15 minutes Cooking Time: 30 minutes Ingredients 12 slices of bread 1 cup paneer (cottage cheese) 1 cup boiled peas 1 cup finely chopped boiled carrots 5-6 finely chopped green chillies 1 teaspoon ginger paste 1 teaspoon garlic paste (optional) 1 teaspoon crushed black pepper 1/2 cup grated cheese Salt 8 teaspoon of butter Method Crumble paneer/cottage cheese and keep it aside. Take a pan and heat 2 teaspoon of butter. Add ginger-garlic paste and stir it for 2-3 times. Add peas, carrots, green chillies, salt, pepper and saute it for 2-3 minutes. Add paneer and mix it well. Cook for about 1-2 minutes. Switch off the gas stove. Add grated cheese when it slightly cools. Take bread slices and apply butter on one side of each slice. Take a slice of bread. Apply peas-paneer mixture. Cover it with bread. Prepare all the sandwiches. Toast or grill the sandwiches. Serve it hot with green chutney and tomato ketchup. |
