Spinach Idlis

Spinach Idlis

Preparation Time: 20 minutes

Cooking Time: 15 minutes

Serves: 3


7-8 prepared idls

1 cup spinach puree


3 tablespoon ginger-garlic-green chillies paste

For tempering

2 teaspoon oil

1 teaspoon cumin seeds

1 teaspoon mustard seeds

5-6 Curry leaves



Cut idlis into long strips.

Take oil in a pan and get it hot. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaves. Add ginger-garlic-green chillies paste and stir it for 2-3 minutes. Add spinach puree and again stir it for 5-6 minutes on low flame.

After 5-6 minutes add cut idlis. Let it cook for 3-4 minutes.

Serve it hot with tomato ketch up.
