Ragi-Sprouts Wraps

Ragi Sprouts Wraps

Preparation Time: 20 minutes

Cooking Time: 30 minutes

Serves: 4

Ingredients

1 1/2 cup ragi/nachani

1/2 cup wheat flour

2 big boiled potatoes

1 1/2 cup moong sprouts

1/4 cup finely chopped green chillies

1/2 cup shredded cabbage

1/2 cup finely chopped onions

2 cup finely chopped tomatoes(optional)

4 tablespoon schezwan chutney

1 teaspoon ground black pepper

Salt

2 teaspoon oil


Method

Take a bowl. Add ragi and wheat flour, salt, pepper, 1 teaspoon oil and mix it well. Add water to make soft dough. Be careful not to make it too soft otherwise it will be difficult to roll it. Keep it aside for 5-7 minutes.

Take a pan and heat remaining oil. Add green chillies, onions, cabbage and saute it for about 1-2 minutes. Add spouts and saute it for about a minute. Don’t cook it fully, it should be slightly crunchy. Mash boiled potatoes, add potatoes and schezwan chutney and mix it properly. Keep it aside.

Take a tawa/griddle and heat it. Make 11-12 balls from the dough. Roll the rotis and cook it on the tawa like a roti. Cover it immediately after it is done otherwise it will become dry. It should not be thin like roti otherwise it will break. 

While serving, take one roti, put it upside down. Spread the mixture in the center vertically, sprinkle tomatoes and serve it immediately.
