Method Soak Bengal split gram for about 2 hours. Take kadai/wok and heat ghee. Add bengal gram and sauté it for about 3-4 minutes on a medium flame or till it is soft enough. Add peas, salt, green chillies, pepper, lemon juice and sauté it for 2 more minutes on a low flame. Add rice and mix it well and cook for about 2-3 minutes so that all the spices mix it well. Serve it hot with any curry. |
