Chickpeas Rice

Preparation Time: 20 minutes

Cooking Time: 10 minutes

Serves: 4


Ingredients

2 cup cooked rice

1 cup chickpeas (white)/Kabuli Chana

½ cup finely chopped spring onions

½ cup finely chopped green garlic

2-3 finely chopped green chillies

½  teaspoon red chilly powder

Salt

2 tablespoon oil

 

Method

Soak chickpeas overnight or 7-8 hours. Pressure cook chickpeas for 4 whistles. Drain the water.

Take a pan and heat oil. Add green chillies, green garlic, spring onions and sauté it for about 3-4 minutes. Add salt, red chilly powder, chickpeas and sauté it for 2 more minutes. Add rice and mix it well. Cook it for 1-2 minutes so that everything mixes well.

Serve it hot with soup, curd or just like that.
