![]() Spinach Rice Preparation time 30 minutes Cooking time; 20-25 minutes Serves: 4 Ingredients 2 cup boiled rice 1 cup spinach puree 1 cup boiled peas 1 teaspoon ginger paste 1 teaspoon garlic paste 2 tablespoon green chilly paste Salt Oil 1 onion ½ capsicum Method Boil rice and drain it. Boil water and put spinach leaves in it for about 5-7 minutes. Take it out and make puree. Boil peas. Take oil in kadai(wok) and heat it. Add ginger/garlic/green chilly paste and stir it. Add spinach puree and let it simmer for about 5-7 minutes. Add salt to it. Add rice and stir it very slowly with a big flat spatula so that it doesn’t break. Cover it with a lid and on a low flame let it cook for about 5 minutes. Garnish it with capsicum and onion rings and serve it hot with curd or cucumber raita. |
