Ajwain Paratha

Preparation Time: 5 minutes

Serves: 3

Ingredients

1½  cup wheat flour

3 teaspoon ajwain (carom seeds)

1 teaspoon roasted cumin seeds (coarsely ground)

Salt

Oil


Method

Take a bowl. Add wheat flour, salt, cumin powder, ajwain, oil and mix it well. Add water and knead dough. Let it rest for 10-15 minutes.

Make 10-12 small balls. Roll the balls in flour and roll the paratha of about 5-6 inch diameter.Give your desired shape. To make it square, after rolling into circle apply oil on it and sprinkle flour. Fold vertically from both sides overlapping. Then horizontally fold it. Sprinkle flour and roll it on all the sides to make it square.

Take non-stick tawa and cook it on both the sides smearing with oil on medium flame. Prepare all the parathas in the same way.

Serve with curd or raita.
