Beetroot Paratha

Preparation Time: 15 minutes

Cooking Time: 20 minutes

Serves: 4


2 cups wheat flour

1 cup chopped and boiled beetroot

1 tablespoon green chilies paste

1/2 tablespoon ginger paste

1 teaspoon roasted cumin powder

1 teaspoon chaat masala

1 teaspoon ground black pepper




Take beetroot, add 1/2 cup of water and blend it to make puree.

Take a bowl. Add wheat flour, salt, pepper, cumin powder, chaat masala, green chillies-ginger paste, 2 teaspoon oil and mix it. Add beetroot puree and mix it to knead dough. Add water if needed.

Make small balls. Dip into flour and roll the parathas of 4-5 inch diameter. You can have your own shape.

Take non stick tawa and cook it on both the sides smearing with oil. Prepare all the parathas in same way.

Serve it with curd or chutney.
