Paneer Paratha

Preparation Time: 15 minutes

Cooking Time: 30 minutes

Serves: 4

Ingredients

3 cup wheat flour

2 cup paneer/cottage cheese

2 teaspoon garlic paste

2 teaspoon ginger paste

4-5 finely chopped green chillies

½ finely chopped coriander leaves

2 teaspoon black pepper

½ lemon

Salt

Oil for smearing

Method

Take wheat flour, add salt and oil and knead dough. Keep it aside.

Take a bowl, add paneer, garlic paste, ginger paste, green chillies, coriander leaves, pepper, lemon juice, salt and mix it well.

Make four balls from the dough. Take one ball and roll the roti of about 9-10 inch diameter. Spread the paneer mixture on the roti. Roll the roti to make one big roll. Make the rolls from all 4 rolls. Cut the rolls into about 1 ½ to 2 inch rolls.

Roll the paratha using wheat flour as per the need.

Take non-stick tawa and cook it on both the sides smearing with oil. Prepare all the parathas in same way.

If this is difficult, make small balls from the dough. Take one ball, roll the paratha of about 2 inches, put the paneer mixture in the centre, cover it with the dough from all the sides and roll the paratha. Cook it on both the sides smearing it with the oil.

Serve it hot with any chutney or pickle.
