Bottle Gourd-Coconut Vegetable

Preparation Time: 10 minutes

Cooking Time: 10-15 minutes

Serves: 4


3 cup finely chopped bottle gourd

1 cup grated fresh coconut

1/4 cup finely chopped green chillies

1 tablespoon ginger paste

1 tablespoon cumin seeds

1/2 cup curd


Coriander leaves for garnishing



Take a pan and heat oil. Add cumin seeds and let it crackle. Add green chillies, ginger paste and stir it. Add bottle gourd and cook it till it is almost done.

Add coconut, salt, curd and mix it well. Cook it for about 3-4 minutes on a low flame. Add water if you want more gravy.

Garnish it with coriander leaves and serve it with roti or parathas.
