Bottle Gourd-Paneer Kheema (Cottage Cheese)

Serves: 4


1 1/2 cup finely chopped bottle gourd

2 cup paneer

1 cup finely chopped tomatoes

2 teaspoon red chilly powder

1 teaspoon turmeric powder

1 teaspoon garam masala

1 teaspoon cumin seeds


2 tablespoon oil



Take a pan and heat oil. Add cumin seeds, bottle gourd, salt, turmeric powder and cook it till it is half done. Add tomatoes, paneer (crush with hands), red chilly powder, garam masala and cook it on medium to low heat till it is done.

You can even mash bottle gourd before adding other ingredients so that even children can be tempted and enjoy it.

Serve it hot with roti, parathas or puris.
