Chilly Paneer in Yellow Gravy (Chilly-Cottage Cheese)

Serves: 3


Ingredients

2 cup paneer pieces (Cottage cheese)

1 cup chopped yellow capsicum (bell pepper)

2 teaspoon maida (all purpose flour)

1 cup milk

2 finely chopped green chillies

2 teaspoon fennel (saunf)

2 teaspoon ground white pepper

1 teaspoon coriander seeds

1/2  teaspoon turmeric powder

Salt

2 teaspoon ghee (clarified butter) / butter

 

Method

Take a pan and heat ghee. Add maida and sauté it till it turns light brown. Add milk and stir continuously to avoid lumps. Add 1 cup water and let it boil.

Take fennel, coriander seeds and grind it. Add it to the gravy. Add salt, turmeric powder, yellow capsicum, green chillies, white pepper and cook it for 2-3 minutes.

Add paneer pieces and cook it on a low flame for 3-4 minutes.

Serve it hot with roti, paratha or rice.
