![]() Saragva ni shing nu shaak Preparation Time: 15 minutes Cooking Time: 15 minutes Serves: 3 Ingredients 3 big potatoes 6-7 saragva ni shing/ drumsticks 1 cup besan (gram flour) 2 teaspoon garlic paste 2 teaspoon red chilly powder 1 teaspoon turmeric powder 1 teaspoon coriander-cumin powder 1 teaspoon mustard seeds 1 teaspoon cumin seeds A pinch of asafoetida 2 tablespoon oil
Method Cut shing into about 1 ½ or 2 inches sticks. Boil potatoes and shing. Peel the skin of potatoes and make big pieces. Roast besan and let it cool. Take a pan and heat oil. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, asafoetida, garlic paste and stir it for 2-3 times. Add potato and shing pieces and stir it. Add red chilly powder, turmeric powder, coriander-cumin powder and mix it well. Add roasted besan, sprinkle 2-3 teaspoon of water, mix it well, close the lid and let it cook for 2-3 minutes more. Serve it hot with roti/chappati. |
