Soya beans (Soybeans) in Tomato gravy Preparation Time: 20 minutes Cooking Time: 10 minutes Serves: 4 Ingredients 2 cup soybean chunks 2 cup tomato puree 2 teaspoon garlic paste 1 teaspoon ginger paste 2 teaspoon finely chopped green chillies 1 teaspoon turmeric powder 2 teaspoon red chilly powder 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper Salt 2 tablespoon oil Mint leaves for garnishing
Method Boil soybean chunks as per the instructions on the packet. Add 1/2 teaspoon of salt and black pepper while boiling. Drain water and keep it aside. Take a pan and heat oil. Add garlic-ginger paste, green chillies and stir it for 2-3 times. Add tomato puree, salt, turmeric powder, red chilly powder and cook it for 2-3 minutes. Add soybeans chunks and cook it for 2-3 minutes. Garnish it with mint leaves and serve it with roti/paratha or rice. |
