Cooking Time: 25 minutes

Serves: 3

For Spinach Balls

2 cup finely chopped spinach leaves

3 teaspoon of ginger paste

5-6 finely chopped green chillies

1 cup wheat flour/maida(all purpose flour)

Salt

Oil for frying

For Gravy

1 ½ cup milk

2 teaspoon maida/all purpose flour

3 teaspoon grated cheese (optional)

¼ cup julienne of yellow bell pepper/capsicum

2 teaspoon of paprika

2 teaspoon of butter

Salt

Method

Take spinach, add 2-3 teaspoon of water and mix it in a mixer to make spinach puree.

Take a bowl. Add spinach puree, salt, ginger paste, green chillies and mix it well. Add flour and mix it well and make it like soft dough.

Take kadai/frying pan and heat oil. Make small balls from the dough and deep fry in batches. Keep it aside.

Take a pan and heat butter. Add maida and sauté it for about 1-2 minutes till it turns light brown. Add milk and stir it continuously to avoid lumps, till it thickens. Add ½ glass of water and let it boil. Add spinach balls, salt, cheese and cook it for about 4-5 minutes on a medium flame, stirring occasionally. Add yellow pepper and paprika and switch off the gas stove.

Serve it hot with bread, roti or paratha(Indian flat bread).
