Method Cut tindora into long strips. Cut onions also long. Take a kadai (wok) and heat oil. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, asafoetida and then onions. Sauté for about 5 minutes till it changes its colour. Add tindora, salt and turmeric powder. Close the lid and let it cook for about 7-8 minutes. Check it with spatula if it is cooked or not. Add red chilly powder and coriander-cumin powder and sauté for about 2-3 minutes. You can add sugar and tomatoes if you like it. Serve it hot. |
