Banana Rolls

Banana Rolls

Preparation Time: 20 minutes

Cooking Time: 30 minutes

Makes 2 rolls


Ingredients

1 cup maida/all purpose flour

2 tablespoon castor sugar/powdered sugar

1 teaspoon baking powder

½ teaspoon baking soda

A pinch of salt

Milk as required

 

For banana stuffing

1 cup banana mash

1 teaspoon cinnamon powder

2 tablespoon castor sugar/powdered sugar

 

Method

Mix all the dry ingredients, add milk as per the need and knead the dough. Let it rest for about 15-20 minutes.

Take a bowl, mix banana mash, cinnamon powder, sugar.

Make two balls from the dough. Roll the roti of about 8-9 inch diameter.  Spread banana mash.  Roll it slowly from the small side and at the end apply milk on the edge to pack the roll properly.  Prepare both the rolls.

Preheat oven and grease the baking tray. Grease both the rolls with butter and put it in the baking tray leaving some space in between. Roll it slowly from the small side and at the end apply milk on the edge to pack the roll properly.  Prepare both the rolls.

Let it cool. Cut the rolls into small pieces and serve it.
