Biscuit-Custard Pudding

Biscuits-Custard Pudding

Preparation Time: 20 minutes

Cooking Time: 10 minutes

Cooling Time 40 minutes

Setting Time: 4-5 hours

Serves: 6


3 cup milk

7 tablespoon sugar

1 cup sugar syrup

6 tablespoon custard powder

2 packets of Marie biscuits

1 packet of sweet biscuits

3-4 teaspoon of chocolate powder

2 teaspoon of cocoa powder



Take one cup water, add 2 tablespoon sugar and boil it to make sugar syrup. Keep it aside to cool it.

Take 2 1/2 cup milk, add remaining sugar and boil it. Take remaining 1/2 cup milk, add custard powder and mix it well. Pour the mix into boiling milk and stir continuously to avoid lumps. Boil it for some more time to thicken the milk. Keep it aside to cool.

Take a square or rectangle bowl. Take Marie biscuits, dip into sugar syrup and take it out immediately. Arrange at the bottom of the bowl. Same way arrange sweet biscuits on all the sides. Now pour half of the custard on the biscuits. Sprinkle chocolate powder on custard. Take Marie biscuits and make small pieces and spread pieces on it. Again sprinkle chocolate powder. Make the next layer of remaining custard. Dip 4-5 sweet biscuits into sugar syrup, make small pieces and spread it on the top. Sprinkle cocoa powder on the top.

Refrigerate for 4-5 hours till it sets. Make triangle pieces and serve.
