Chickoo Halwa(Chickoo Fudge)

Chickoo Halwa(Chickoo Fudge)

Preparation Time: 10 minutes

Cooking Time: 15 minutes

Serves: 4


Ingredients

1 cup rajghara(amaranth flour)/semolina

2 cup chickoo puree

1 cup milk

1 cup sugar

1 teaspoon cardamom powder

2 tablespoon ghee (clarified butter)

Cashew nuts/almonds for garnishing

 

Method

Take a pan and heat ghee. Add amaranth flour and sauté it till it turns light brown. Add chickoo puree and sauté it for 2-3 minutes. Add milk and mix it well. Add sugar and sauté it till ghee leaves from the side. Add cardamom powder, mix it well and switch off the gas stove.

Garnish it with cashew nuts/almonds and serve it hot.

You can even use it semolina instead of amaranth flour.
