Mangalmurti Ladoos

Mangalmurti Ladoos (Semolina-Wheat flour Sweet Balls)

Preparation Time: 5 minutes

Cooking Time: 20 minutes

Makes 20-22 balls


1 cup rava/semolina

¼ cup wheat flour

8 tablespoon coconut powder

¾ cup powdered sugar

¼ cup ghee (clarified butter)

4 teaspoon fresh cream

1 teaspoon nutmeg powder

2 teaspoon cardamom powder



Take a pan and heat ghee. Add rava, wheat flour and roast it till it starts changing colour. Add 5 tablespoon of coconut powder and roast it till it turns light brown. Add powdered sugar and roast it for 3-4 minutes. Add fresh cream and stir it for a minute.

Switch off the gas stove and let it cool slightly. Grease your hands with ghee, take about 2 teaspoon of mix and make small balls.

In a dish take remaining coconut powder. Roll the balls in coconut powder and let it cool properly. Store it in an air-tight container.
