Mango Bread Pudding
Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Setting Time: 5-6 hours
10 slices of bread
2 cup mango juice
5-6 chocolate cookies
4-5 gulab jamun
1 cup chopped nuts (almonds, cashews, pistachios)
3 tablespoon powdered sugar
Cut the sides of the bread slices and keep it aside.
Add sugar to mango juice and mix it well.
Take a bowl. Crush cookies and make coarse powder and keep it aside.
Take another bowl. Finely chop gulab jamun, add chopped nuts, mix it well and keep it aside.
Take a bowl. Spread cookies powder evenly at the base. Deep one bread slice into mango juice and arrange it on the cookies powder. Cover the whole base. Sprinkle cookies powder on the bread, covering all the slices. Again, make another layer of bread slices - deep the bread slice into mango juice and arrange it on the cookie powder. Finally, sprinkle cookies powder. Top it up with chopped nuts and gulab jamun and slightly press it with spoon.
Refrigerate it for 5-6 hours or till it is set. Cut into pieces and serve immediately.
