Rajghara Banana Mousse

Preparation Time: 10 minutes

Cooking Time: 20 minutes

Setting Time: 2-3 hours

Ingredients

For Chocolate Pudding

¼ cup rajghara flour (amaranth flour)

1 cup milk

¼ cup sugar

4 teaspoon drinking chocolate

1 teaspoon cocoa powder

3 teaspoon chocolate sprinkles

For Banana Pudding

1 cup milk

2 tablespoon custard powder

1 cup mashed bananas

3 teaspoon sugar

½ teaspoon cinnamon powder

¼ cup chopped dry fruits

Method

For Chocolate Pudding

Take a bowl. Add milk, rajghara and mix it well.

Take a pan and heat it. Add rajghara mix and stir it continuously to avoid lumps and sticking at the bottom. Add sugar when it is half done. Cook it for about 8-10 minutes on a low to medium flame till it thickens. Add cocoa powder and drinking chocolate just before it is done. Mix it well and switch off the gas stove. Let it cool completely.

For Banana Pudding

Take a bowl. Add half milk, custard powder and mix it well.

Take a pan. Add remaining milk and boil it. Add custard mix and stir it continuously to avoid lumps and sticking at the bottom. Cook it till it thickens. Take it off the gas stove. Add mashed bananas and chopped dry fruits to the custard. Let it cool completely.

To serve – Take glasses. Tilt the glass and pour about 3 teaspoon chocolate pudding in all the glasses. Put it into the small bowl, still tilted and put it in the refrigerator to set for about 1 hour.

Take out the glasses and make the next layer with banana pudding in the tilted glass. Again put it in the refrigerator to set for about 2 hours or till it sets.

Garnish it with chocolate sprinkles and serve it.
