Fenugreek Bread Pakoda
Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time: 20 minutes
10 bread slices
1 cup gram flour/besan
2 tablespoon semolina/rava
1/4 cup finely chopped spring onions
1/4 cup finely chopped fenugreek leaves
1 teaspoon garam masala
1 teaspoon chat masala
1 teaspoon garlic paste
1/2 teaspoon ginger paste
3 finely chopped green chillies
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon red chilli powder
Oil for frying
Cut bread slices diagonally into 2 triangles. Keep it aside.
Take a bowl. Add besan, rava, spring onions, fenugreek leaves, garam masala, chat
masala, garlic paste, ginger paste, green chillies, lemon juice,turmeric powder, red chilli
powder, salt and mix it.
Add water and whisk to make thick batter.
Take kadai/tawa and heat oil. Take one piece of bread slice, dip into batter so that it covers
the whole slice and softly put it into the oil to deep fry. Fry it on both the sides till light brown.
Take it out and put it on the absorbent paper to drain excess oil.
Serve it with chutney or tomato ketchup.
