Bajri Pakodas

Serves: 4


2 cup bajri flour/Pearl Millet

½ cup rava/suji/semolina

1 cup curd

3 tablespoon garlic paste

3 tablespoon ginger paste

5-6 finely chopped green chillies

4 teaspoon sesame seeds

¼ teaspoon soda bi carb

½ finely chopped coriander leaves

¼ teaspoon turmeric powder


Oil for frying



Soak barji flour and rava in curd for about 3 hours. The batter should be very thick otherwise it will be very difficult to make pakodas. Add garlic-ginger paste, green chillies, sesame seeds, salt, soda bi card, coriander leaves, turmeric powder and mix it well.

Take kadai/wok and heat oil. Wet your hands and make small pakodas and deep fry it in small badges. Fry it on low flame otherwise it will remain uncooked from inside.

Serve it hot with green chillies-curd chutney
