![]() Preparation Time: 20 minutes Cooking Time: 20 minutes Ingredients 12 bread slices 1 cup boiled chick peas (brown) 1 cup boiled potatoes 1 cup finely chopped onions ½ cup finely chopped capsicum/bell peppers 5-6 finely chopped green chillies 1 teaspoon garlic paste (optional) 2 teaspoon ground black pepper 1 teaspoon chat masala Salt 1 cup butter
Method Soak chick peas for about 7-8 hours and pressure cook for 5 whistles. Drain the water. Mash the boiled potatoes Take a pan and heat 2 tablespoon butter. Add garlic paste, onions and sauté it for about 2-3 minutes, till it turns light brown. Add green chillies, capsicum, chick peas, potatoes, salt, pepper, chat masala and mix it well. Cook it for 2 more minutes. Take bread slices and apply butter on one side of each slice. Take a slice of bread. Apply chick peas-potato mixture. Cover it with bread. Prepare all the sandwiches. Toast or grill it. Serve hot with green chutney and tomato ketchup. |
