Preparation Time: 15 minutes Cooking Time: 20 minutes Serves: 3 Ingredients 4 big potatoes 1 cup julienne of onions 1 cup julienne of capsicum/green bell pepper 4-5 finely chopped green chillies 1 cup finely shredded cabbage 3 teaspoon garlic paste 3 teaspoon ginger paste 1 cup corn flour 3 teaspoon soya sauce 3 teaspoon tomato ketchup 2 teaspoon ground black pepper Salt 4 tablespoon oil
Method Cut potatoes into long finger chips. Mix 1/2 cup corn flour into ½ cup of water. If the batter is too thick add little more water. Take oil in frying pan. Deep potato fingers into corn flour batter and deep fry. Fry potatoes till it is light brown. Take it out and drain it on the absorbent paper. In the same oil add ginger-garlic paste, green chillies and stir it for 2-3 times. Add onions, cabbage and sauté it for about 4-5 minutes. Add capsicum and sauté for more 2-3 minutes. Finally, add fried potatoes. Take a bowl. Add 1 teaspoon corn flour, soya sauce, tomato ketchup, pepper, salt, 3 tablespoon of water and make a paste. Add it to pan and cook it for about 3-4 minutes more on a low flame so that all the spices are mixed together. If it is too dry, add little more water.
If you like it spicier then you can add more green chillies or chilli sauce. Serve it hot. |
