2 cup wheat flour
½ teaspoon food colour of your choice (optional)
4 boiled potatoes
1 finely chopped onion
1 teaspoon garam masala
1 teaspoon sugar
Oil for frying
Take flour, add colour and salt and knead dough. If you want to use two colours then divide flour into half and prepare two colour doughs.
Take boiled potatoes in a bowl and mash it. Add salt, garam masala, sugar and lemon juice and mix it well. Take one teaspoon of oil and sauté onions for 2-3 minutes. Add potato mix into it and mix it well.
Make small balls from both the dough and roll puris. Take red puri and put 1 teaspoon of potato stuffing into it and fold it from all the sides and make square shape. Prepare all the squares in the same way.
Now take green puris and put the stuffing into the puri and fold into half and then fold from two sides to make triangle shape. Pat it on the rolling board to give perfect shape.
You can make shape of your own choice also.
Take frying pan and heat oil. Deep fry all the patties. Serve it hot with green chutney and tomato ketchup.
