![]() Preparation Time: 25 minutes Cooking Time: 30 minutes Ingredients For Bhakhri (Indian thick crisp bread) 1 1/2 cup wheat flour 2 tablespoon oil salt For Topping 1 1/2 cup boiled corn kernels 1 cup finely chopped capsicum/bell pepper 1/2 cup finely chopped onions 3 teaspoon oregano 1 teaspoon ground black pepper 2 teaspoon butter Salt 2 cup grated cheese For Pizza Sauce 5 big tomatoes 4-5 cloves of garlic (optional) 1 teaspoon red chilly powder 2 teaspoon oregano 1/2 teaspoon ground black powder 2 teaspoon sugar (optional) Salt
Method Bhakhri - Take a bowl. add wheat flour, salt, oil and mix it well. add little water and knead hard dough. Add 1/4 teaspoon oil and grease the dough. Knead it again. Divide the dough into four balls. Roll it into a 1/2 cm thick using rolling board and pin. Take tawa and heat it. Dry roast it on both the sides slightly pressing it with a muslin cloth. Don't cook it fully on the bottom side as we have to cook it again. Prepare all the bhakhris and keep it aside. Pizza Sauce - Chop tomatoes into big pieces. Blend it into puree. Take a pan. Add tomato puree, garlic cloves, salt, sugar, pepper, oregano and red chilly powder and cook it till it thickens. Take out garlic cloves when it is done. Pizza Topping - Take a pan and heat butter. Add onions and saute it for 2-3 minutes. Add corn, capsicum, salt, pepper, oregano and mix it well. Cook it for 2-3 minutes more. To Make pizza - Take 1 bhakhri, spread pizza sauce and corn topping. Top it up with grated cheese and sprinkle some oregano on it. Take a pan and put pizza on it. Close the lid and cook it on a low flame till cheese melts and the base is slight crispy or bake it for 5-7 minutes, till it is slight crispy.
