![]() Preparation Time: 20 minutes Cooking Time: 20 minutes Ingredients 12 buns 1 ½ cup boiled corn kernels 2 boiled and mashed potatoes ½ cup finely chopped red bell peppers/capsicum ½ cup finely chopped onions 4 teaspoon green/mint chutney 1 teaspoon ground black pepper Salt 2 teaspoon oil ½ cup butter
Method Take a pan and heat oil. Add onions and sauté it for about 2 minutes, till it turns into light brown. Add red capsicum, mashed potatoes, corn kernels, salt, pepper and mix it well. Cook it for 2 more minutes. Switch off the gas stove. Add green chutney and mix it well. Take a bun and cut the slit on one side but do not cut into half. Like this cut all the buns. Stuff the bun with corn mixture with a spoon. Slightly press it with a spoon so that it is stuffed properly. Take a microwave safe dish/tray. Grease the bun on all the sides with butter and arrange it in the tray. Grill the buns for 5-6 minutes, till the top turns into light crispy brown. Serve it hot with tomato ketchup or chutney. |
