![]() Potato Pancakes Preparation Time: 15-20 minutes Cooking Time: 20-25 minutes Serves: 3 Ingredients 7-8 big potatoes 4-5 tablespoon tapkir (arrowroot flour) 4-5 green chillies 2 teaspoon ground black pepper Salt Oil Method Take pressure cooker, add 2 small glasses of water and boil it. Cut potatoes into half and put it in the boiling water. Close the lid and pressure cook for 3 whistles. Let the cooker cool. Take out potatoes and let it cool slightly. Peel the skin and mash it with a masher. Cut green chillies into small pieces. Add tapkir, green chillies, pepper and salt and mix it well. Mix it like a dough. Now make 6 equal balls. Heat the tawa and put some oil on it. Take one ball and slowly spread it on the tawa with hand to make a pancake(pudla). Let it cook on one side on a low flame till it is light brown. Slowly turn it on the other side and cook it again. You need to be careful while turning as it is very soft. Serve it hot with tomato ketchup or green chutney. This can be used also as vrat item when you are fasting. |
