Rava-Vegetable Pudla

Rava-Vegetable Pudla (Pancakes)

Cooking Time: 30 minutes

Serves: 4


2 cup rava/suji

½ cup finely chopped carrots

¼ cup finely chopped red chillies/capsicum

½ cup finely chopped beetroot

½ cup finely chopped coriander

1 teaspoon chaat masala

½  teaspoon cooking soda





Take rava, add 1 ½ glass of water and mix it well with a blender. Keep the batter thick. If it is too thick then add some more water.

Add all the vegetables, salt, chaat masala, cooking soda and mix it well.

Heat non stick tawa and put some oil on it. Put 1 big spoon of mix and slowly spread it on the tawa. Let it cook on one side on a low flame. Slowly turn it on the other side, put some oil and cook it again. Cook it on both the sides till it turns light brown on a low flame.

Serve it hot with tomato ketchup or green chutney. You can even add your choice of vegetables. If you like spicier then add 1 teaspoon of red chilly powder or 3-4 green chillies.
