2 cup idli batter
1/2 cup grated carrots
1/2 cup finely chopped capsicum
1/2 cup finely chopped tomatoes
1/2 cup shredded cabbage
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon chat masala
1 teaspoon black salt
Salt to taste
Take a bowl. Add carrots, capsicum, tomatoes, cabbage, salt, pepper, chat masala,
black salt and mix it.
Take a non stick pan and heat it. Add 1/2 teaspoon of oil. Pour small ladleful of
batter and spread it to make uttapam.
Spread about 2-3 teaspoons of vegetable mix on it and slightly press it with hand.
Pour about half ladleful of batter on the vegetables to cover it.
Turn it slowly with the spatula on the other side when one side is done.
Cook it on both the sides till it becomes light brown.
Serve it with tomato ketchup and green chutney.
