Vegetable Balls Preparation Time: 20 minutes Cooking Time: 20 minutes Soaking Time: 4-5 hours Serves: 3 Ingredients 3 cup split bengal gram 1/2 cup boiled peas 1/2 cup grated carrots 1 cup finely chopped onions 1 cup finely chopped green chillies 1/2 teaspoon cooking soda 1 tablespoon besan (gram flour) 2 teaspoon red chilly powder 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder 1/2 lemon Salt Oil Method Soak split bengal gram for about 4-5 hours. Drain water and make crunchy paste in the mixture. Add peas, carrots, onions, green chillies, cooking soda, red chilly powder, turmeric powder, lemon juice, salt and mix it well. Add besan and mix again. Wet your hands and make small balls. Press it from the top. Take a frying pan and heat oil. Deep fry all the balls. Serve it hot with roasted split gram chutney or tomato ketchup. |
