![]() Preparation Time: 20 minutes Cooking Time: 15 minutes Serves: 3 Ingredients 1 packet hakka noodles/spaghetti noodles 1 cup sprouted moong beans 1 cup shredded cabbage ½ cup julienne of carrots ½ cup julienne of capsicum/green bell peppers 1 cup chopped spring onions/shallots 1 teaspoon ginger paste 1 teaspoon ground black pepper 2 teaspoon soya sauce 2 teaspoon chilly sauce 1 teaspoon vinegar Salt 2 tablespoon oil
Method Cook noodles as per instructions on the packet. Put it in the colander to drain water and pour cold water. It helps to stop cooking and to get soggy. Add 1 teaspoon oil, mix and keep it aside. Take a pan and heat oil. Add cabbage and carrots and sauté it for about 1-2 minutes. Add spring onions, capsicum, moong beans, salt, ginger, pepper and sauté on a high flame it till it is done stirring continuously. High flame helps to cook the vegetables fast. Put the gas stove on low flame, add noodles, soya sauce, chilly sauce, vinegar and cook it on medium flame for 2-3 minutes till everything is mixed properly. Serve it immediately. |
