![]() Vegetable Idlis Preparation Time: 20 minutes Cooking Time: 15 minutes Serves: 3 Ingredients 7-8 prepared idls 1 cup shredded cabbage 1 cup onions 2-3 tomatoes 3-4 green chillies Salt to taste 3 tbsp tomato ketchup For tempering 2 tsp oil 1 tsp cumin seeds 1 tsp mustard seeds 5-6 Curry leaves For Garnishing ½ cup coriander leaves 4-5 slices of tomatoes 4-5 slices of onions Method Cut idlis into long strips. Cut tomatoes and green chillies into small pieces. Finely cut long onions. Take oil in a pan and get it hot. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaves. Add green chillies and onions and stir it for 2-3 minutes. Add shredded cabbage and again stir it for 5-6 minutes on low flame. Cover it with lid. After 5-6 minutes add cut tomatoes and stir it till oil leaves on the sides. Add tomato ketch up, stir it and add cut idlis. Let it simmer for 3-4 minutes. Garnish it with tomato and onion slices and coriander. |
